Dr. Jill Biden and Army Chief of Staff, General Raymond Odierno, join the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE) and the Military Child Education Coalition for a Joining Forces celebration at GeorgeMasonUniversity highlighting progress made on “Operation Educate the Educators.”

The initiative encourages colleges and universities nationwide to adopt a set of guiding principles that will help better prepare educators to meet the needs of military-connected children. There are currently more than two million military-connected students whose parents are active duty, members of the National Guard or Reserves, or veterans.
