President Obama spoke with Alaska Native leaders at the Dena’ina Civic and Convention Center in Anchorage, Alaska.

Standing in front of Exit Glacier in Kenai Fjords National Park, President Obama spoke about how climate change is causing Alaska’s glaciers to recede and accelerating rising sea levels.

President Obama announces accelerating the construction of an additional icebreaker, and calls on Congress to make sure that we’re producing a fleet that meets our economic, commercial, maritime, and national security needs.
