Congresswoman Michele Bachmann answered a question to the Young America’s Foundation regarding the unfolding situation in Afghanistan. Earlier this week, Korans were inadvertently burned on a U.S. base. President Obama responded with an immediate apology tour. In the midst of apologies, demonstrations in Afghanistan turned violent, including the murder of two U.S. soldiers by an American-trained Afghan soldier.
Bachmann stated in her answer, “The United States is not the problem in this equation. The American solider is not the problem in this equation. President Obama had no business issuing an apology in this equation.”
